Dubai’s dining scene is offering a diverse menu of culinary events and special offers this September, providing residents and visitors with options ranging from unlimited Thai feasts and gourmet burger nights to the soft launch of a Michelin-starred ramen restaurant. As the city’s pace picks up after the summer, restaurants are introducing new brunches, limited-time festivals, and curated tasting menus to suit various tastes and budgets.

Limited-Time Culinary Events

Food enthusiasts can get an early taste of Konjiki Hototogisu, the celebrated ramen restaurant, which begins its soft launch at Nakheel Mall from 3 September. The Tokyo-based establishment, known for its clam and chicken broth with truffle oil, will also serve izakaya dishes and Japanese desserts ahead of its grand opening on 23 September.

For one night only on 4 September, Chef Hadrien Villedieu is hosting a special burger night at Chez Wam in St Regis Gardens. The menu features five unique creations, including a Wagyu and foie gras burger, a kimchi chicken option, and even a dessert “Choco Burger”. The city’s vibrant restaurant culture often attracts high-profile guests, much like when Sheikh Hamdan visited the newly opened Carbone Dubai earlier this year.

At BrewDog on Bluewaters Island, the Wing Stock festival makes its Dubai debut from 1 to 7 September. The week-long event will feature a new wing flavour each day, complemented by craft beverages and live music.

Weekend Brunches and Feasts

Sundays are well-catered for with a variety of brunch options. Ting Irie in Downtown Dubai hosts “Bless Up Sundays,” an all-you-can-eat Jamaican brunch with live-cooked jerk chicken and oxtail. For a family-friendly Greek buffet, MIYA on Bluewaters Dubai offers live music and children’s entertainment. At Le Royal Meridien, The Beam by Nick Alvis serves European comfort food with live acoustic music, while The Strand on Palm Jumeirah provides a classic Sunday roast with a choice of five different mains.

For those seeking a more refined experience, L’Atelier Robuchon in DIFC presents a French-style brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays, featuring modern cuisine in a sophisticated setting.

Speciality Dining and Weekday Offers

Throughout the week, several restaurants are running distinct promotions. Benjarong at Dusit Thani Dubai is offering unlimited Thai dining from Monday to Thursday evenings, with a wide selection of curries, wok-fried dishes, and desserts. At Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, Vera Versilia has introduced a three-course Tuscan business lunch, available from Monday to Thursday.

For a more personalised experience, Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia at Jumeirah Al Qasr offers a surprise tasting menu based on guest preferences. The experience, which begins with an abra ride, showcases a unique approach to Indian cuisine, a popular choice in a city that recently held a grand celebration of the UAE-India bond.

These September offerings reflect the continuous energy of Dubai’s food and beverage sector, presenting a wide array of choices for diners as the city transitions into the busier autumn season.
