The Gulf Magazine

About

A monthly magazine about the people running companies in the Gulf, with a daily newsroom attached.

01

What we publish

Once a month, a set of founder and executive features: profiles written by our editors after a call, checked with the person, and collected into an issue. Every day, a newsroom covering business, technology, energy, policy, culture, and sport across the GCC.

On Sundays, The Sunday Brief: one email on what changed in the region that week. Free, hosted on Substack.

02

Who reads it

Operators, investors, policy people, and curious locals in Riyadh, Dubai, Doha, Manama, Kuwait City, and Muscat. People who want to know who is building what, and what it changed.

03

How we work

Every story goes through editorial review before it goes live. We attribute sources where we can, label opinion, and correct mistakes in public. The full process, including sourcing standards, conflicts of interest, and corrections, is in the Code of Ethics.

Features are editorial. The editors choose who runs. A published feature carries an editorial fee that covers the work, not the decision; see Get featured. Sponsored or branded work carries a label and is explained on the Advertise page.

04

Corrections and contact

Spotted an error or want to flag a follow-up? Email the desk through the contact page. Substantive changes get a note on the story. Rights queries and takedowns go through the DMCA policy.

05

Write for us

We commission op-eds and reported pieces from working journalists, operators, and academics across the region. Read the contribution guidelines first, then send a one-paragraph pitch through the contact page. Founder and executive profiles go through Get featured instead.
