Five ways to run

Rates depend on run length and season. Ask for them and we send a proposal, not a rate card.

  1. 01

    Homepage takeover

    Where
    Front page
    Run
    One day to one week

Your creative in every ad slot on the front page for the run, desktop and mobile.

  2. 02

    Sponsored article

    Where
    Site, newsroom feed
    Run
    Stays live

A labelled piece written with our team, published on the site with your links.

  3. 03

    Newsletter placement

    Where
    The Sunday Brief
    Run
    One send or a series

A labelled slot in the Sunday email: headline, short text, one link.

  4. 04

    Issue partner

    Where
    The monthly features issue
    Run
    One issue

Your name on the issue page and on each feature in it. One partner per issue.

  5. 05

    Branded series

    Where
    Site and newsletter
    Run
    Three months or more

A multi-part programme with an agreed topic, output, and a report at the end.

02 / Readers

Who you reach

Where
Readers across the six GCC states: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, plus people abroad who do business with the region.
Who
Founders, executives, investors, and policy people. The same people we write about in the monthly features.
How they find us
Search, LinkedIn, and the Sunday email. Most read on a phone, so every format has a mobile version.

Want numbers? Ask when you request rates. We send what the live analytics show, for the site and the newsletter.

03 / Process

How it works

Four steps. Most partners go from brief to live within a few weeks.

  1. 1

    Brief

Tell us the goal, the audience you want, and when. The form below takes two minutes.

  2. 2

    Proposal

We reply with formats, dates, and a price. One document, no deck.

  3. 3

    Production

You send creative, or our team writes with you. Everything paid gets a label before it goes live.

  4. 4

    Report

After the run you get the numbers we saw, from the live analytics: impressions, clicks, and reads.

04 / Rules

The rules

Short, and the same for every partner.

Labelled
Sponsored and branded work says so, on the site and in the email.
Editorial stays editorial
Advertisers do not see or shape news stories or features. The editors choose who is featured; see Get featured.
We can say no
We decline work that conflicts with the Code of Ethics or that our readers would not want to see.
No reader data
We do not sell reader data or share the subscriber list with partners.

05 / Request

Request rates

Two minutes. We reply with a proposal, usually within two working days.

Prefer email? Write to [email protected] with the company name in the subject line.

What are you interested in?

Tick any. Not sure yet is a fine answer.

How big is this?
Optional

A month, a quarter, or an event you are working towards.

What you want people to know or do, and who they are.

No mailing list, no follow-up sequence. One reply from a person.

06 / Questions

What partners ask

Can we pay for a feature?
No. Features are editorial and the editors choose who runs. A published feature carries an editorial fee that covers production, not the decision. Start at Get featured.
What audience numbers can you share?
Ask when you request rates. We send what the live analytics show for the site and the newsletter, not a rounded media-kit figure.
Can we focus on one country?
Tell us the market. We will say plainly which formats can focus on it and which cannot.
How far ahead should we book?
Homepage takeovers and issue partnerships go first come, first served. An issue partnership has to be agreed before that issue is locked, so ask early.
