Advertising enquiriesWill my story be published?
Every pitch is reviewed. Editors commission stories with a clear Gulf connection, an original angle and claims we can verify. Accepted, approved stories are published on the website. Submitting a pitch does not guarantee publication.
How do you choose stories for the magazine?
The monthly magazine is a smaller selection of our strongest stories. Editors consider originality, evidence, relevance and the balance of the issue. A website feature does not automatically receive a magazine page or a cover.
Does it cost anything?
Pitching and the initial editor call are free. A commissioned feature carries an editorial fee of USD 30$, agreed before work starts. It covers the interview, writing and fact check. It does not buy magazine placement, a cover or a ranking. Advertising is handled separately.
Can I apply for a Top 10 or another list?
You can nominate someone using this form and name the relevant list in your pitch. Each published list sets out its own scope and methodology. Editors choose and order the entries. A nomination, a feature or payment does not secure a place.
What happens after I send my pitch?
An editor reviews the story and may contact you by email or WhatsApp for more detail. If commissioned, we discuss the fee, interview you and check facts and quotes before publication. Sending a pitch is not a booking for an issue.
