Dubai-based airline Emirates will introduce six additional weekly flights to its London Heathrow schedule from 26 October 2025. The carrier said the expansion is a response to record demand and is timed to serve the peak year-end travel season.

The new services will increase options for passengers travelling between Dubai and London, complementing the airline’s existing six daily flights on the route, all of which are operated by its flagship Airbus A380 aircraft.

New Flights and Aircraft

The additional flights will operate on all days except Fridays throughout the winter season. Emirates will use its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for these services, which offers a three-class configuration of First, Business, and Economy with more than 350 seats.

The schedule for the new flights is as follows:

  • EK41 (Dubai to London Heathrow):

    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday: Departs 1:40 pm, arrives 5:40 pm.
    • Thursday: Departs 12:55 pm, arrives 4:55 pm.
  • EK42 (London Heathrow to Dubai):

    • Monday, Wednesday, Sunday: Departs 10:35 pm, arrives 9:35 am the next day.
    • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: Departs 9:20 pm, arrives 8:20 am the next day.

All timings are local.

UK Network Growth

The flight timings are designed to provide convenient connections for travellers. Flights to London will connect with arrivals from cities such as Ahmedabad, Lahore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Beijing, Shanghai, Bahrain, Dammam, and Riyadh. The overnight departures from Heathrow offer onward connections from Dubai to destinations including Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.

This increase at Heathrow is part of a broader expansion of the airline’s UK services. Emirates recently announced a fourth daily flight to London Gatwick starting from 8 February 2026, which will be operated by its new Airbus A350. With the added frequencies at Heathrow and Gatwick, the airline’s total services to its London hubs will reach 90 flights per week by early next year.

By February 2026, Emirates plans to operate 146 weekly flights to the UK. This includes services to its three London airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted, as well as its regional gateways in Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
