The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has opened admissions for its Winter 2026 semester, offering a range of Master’s programmes alongside several specialised Bachelor’s degrees. The announcement invites prospective students to apply for programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of Qatar’s economy.
Available Undergraduate Programmes
For the upcoming winter intake, UDST is accepting applications for a select group of undergraduate courses across its various colleges. These include:
- College of Computing and Information Technology: Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media Production (Arabic-English Track).
- College of Health Sciences: Bachelor of Science degrees in both Nursing and Paramedicine.
- College of Engineering and Technology: Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering.
The university encourages all interested individuals, including Qatari nationals and the children of Qatari women who qualify for undergraduate tuition fee exemptions, to submit their applications through the official UDST website.
Application and Admission Details
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the specific entry requirements for their chosen programme. All candidates are also required to complete the university’s English and Math Placement Tests to assess their readiness for higher education.
For those who do not meet the necessary standards on these tests, UDST offers a Foundation Program. This preparatory course is designed to provide students with the essential skills required to succeed in their future academic studies at the university.
A Focus on Applied Education
UDST President Dr. Salem Al Naemi highlighted the institution’s commitment to applied learning. “UDST is committed to delivering a world-class educational experience that seamlessly integrates theory with practical application, enabling our students to transform knowledge into skills that contribute to Qatar’s sustainable future,” he stated.
Dr. Al Naemi added that the university aims to produce graduates equipped for leadership and excellence in fields critical to the nation’s growth, particularly in science and technology, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Beyond academics, the university provides a dynamic campus environment with numerous extracurricular activities, research opportunities, and student exchange programmes. As part of its commitment to student wellbeing, UDST recently launched a comprehensive Wellness Strategy designed to support both physical and mental health. Students have access to modern sports facilities, including gyms, swimming pools, and football fields.
