At GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, Russia is presenting a unified front to showcase its growing technology sector. Under the national brand ‘Made in Russia’, the country is highlighting its intellectual capital and an export-ready IT ecosystem at one of the world’s most influential technology exhibitions, which runs from 13 to 17 October.

The national pavilion serves as a platform for over 30 certified Russian technology companies. Their specialisations range from drone control software and facial recognition programmes to transport monitoring systems and corporate communications platforms. This presence demonstrates a strategic shift, positioning Russia as a creator of globally competitive digital solutions.

A Mark of Quality for Global Partners

Held annually in Dubai, GITEX Global attracts industry leaders such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon Web Services, alongside thousands of innovators. The event, which will also see organisations like the Dubai Police showcase smart innovations, provides a significant stage for Russian firms to demonstrate their readiness for the international market.

Central to this effort is the ‘Made in Russia’ certification, which functions as a quality seal. It is designed to assure international partners not only of a product’s Russian origin but also its technical reliability and data security. For businesses in the UAE and other regions, this certification aims to simplify the process of finding credible technology vendors in a competitive field. The initiative offers a curated selection of vetted innovators, which is particularly relevant as UAE businesses increasingly think like tech companies to stay competitive.

Proven Solutions for Urban Challenges

Many of the technologies on display have been refined within Russia, particularly in Moscow, which is recognised for its ‘smart city’ infrastructure. These developers are now offering their proven solutions to a global audience.

Two certified companies featured at the expo are CleverPark and Infomatika. CleverPark offers a fully automated parking management system built on its proprietary software. The system allows operators to manage multiple parking facilities in real time through a web interface, providing live session data, equipment status, and custom reports. An interactive map of each site gives a clear overview of all devices and camera feeds.

Infomatika specialises in smart access control and ticketing systems for large venues such as airports, stadiums, and public buildings. With a track record in critical infrastructure projects, the company provides secure and flexible systems designed for the demands of modern cities.

Russia’s participation at GITEX 2025 signals a clear ambition to diversify its economic identity. By promoting its certified technology companies, the country is presenting its IT sector as a reliable source of innovation and a serious contender for global partnerships in the digital age.
