Dubai Police is set to showcase its latest technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, drones, and smart systems, at the upcoming GITEX Global 2025. The major technology exhibition will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13 to 17 October.
The force will present a range of digital platforms and smart services designed to improve communication with the public and streamline access to police services, in line with government directives on digital transformation.
A Focus on Safety and Security
Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razouqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, confirmed the force’s participation. He stated that it reflects a commitment, under the direction of Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, to engage actively in leading global technology events.
“The goal is to present key police achievements that enhance safety and security, while promoting community happiness through advanced digital solutions and smart technologies,” Al Razouqi said. The Dubai Police stand will be a key feature of the event, where international participants like the Cyprus innovation hub will also be present.
Innovations on Display
Visitors to the Dubai Police stand will have the opportunity to see several new systems and platforms. Among the technologies to be unveiled are the ‘Drone Box’ system, a model of the Smart Police Station (SPS), and motion fingerprinting technology.
Other innovations include an AI-powered commentary system known as AIX, the ’04’ platform, the Dubai Police smart app, and the eCrimeHub platform for reporting electronic crimes. The force will also display its smart traffic violation systems and various robotic automation tools. In addition to the technological displays, attendees can learn about interactive community initiatives such as the Dubai Police eSports Tournament and the UAE SWAT Challenge. The force’s public outreach at major events is a key part of its community engagement strategy, similar to how other large-scale Dubai attractions like Global Village connect with residents and tourists.
Al Razouqi extended an invitation to the public to visit the stand and experience the technologies firsthand. He described it as a chance to see how Dubai Police is adopting artificial intelligence and smart systems to improve public safety and modernise its policing services.
