Visit Qatar Concludes 2025 International Representation Offices Meeting
Visit Qatar has successfully wrapped up its 2025 International Representation Offices meeting, which took place in Doha from October 13 to 15. The three-day event brought together 32 senior representatives from Visit Qatar’s 11 international offices, including key directors and members of the International Markets Management team, as noted in a statement by Qatar Tourism.
Strengthening Global Coordination
The meeting served as an important platform to review the performances of Visit Qatar’s international offices, exchange market insights, and discuss strategies for the year ahead, focusing on 2026. This gathering aligned with Visit Qatar’s ongoing efforts to ensure a unified global representation of the brand. Discussions highlighted future directions, with a particular emphasis on reinforcing collaboration between the local and international teams.
The event also marked the debut participation of the USA office, a significant milestone in Visit Qatar’s global expansion. Representatives from a diverse array of regions, including China, India, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the UK, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), attended, underscoring the global scope of Qatar’s tourism outreach.
Focused Sessions and Strategic Discussions
The agenda featured a variety of sessions, with departmental presentations, strategy workshops, and panel discussions all led by the International Markets team. Key topics included updates and future plans from Visit Qatar’s Marketing, Festivals and Events, Partnerships, and PR and Communications departments. These sessions allowed for deeper collaboration on topics such as brand consistency, market-specific strategies, and expanding Qatar’s presence in emerging and existing markets.
A key part of the meeting was dedicated to open networking, offering an opportunity for international representatives to meet local stakeholders. This session allowed for the exploration of new business opportunities and deeper connections between Qatar’s tourism body and international partners.
