More than 450 Indian technology exhibitors and startups will participate in Gitex Global Dubai 2025, led by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC). The council will anchor the India Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13 to 17 October, featuring over 100 companies specialising in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and financial technology.
A Platform for National Talent
The pavilion aims to present a broad spectrum of India’s digital sector, from first-time innovators to seasoned exporters. It will place a particular focus on the country’s micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) ecosystem and export-ready startups.
“ESC’s multi-hall presence at GITEX reflects the scale and diversity of India’s ICT capabilities,” said Gurmeet Singh, CEO and executive director of ESC. “We’re proud to facilitate global exposure for 100+ Indian companies, many of whom are MSMEs and first-time exporters.” He noted that the initiative aligns with the Indian government’s objective to establish the country as a global electronics hub.
Strengthening India-UAE Trade
The large delegation highlights the growing economic relationship between India and the UAE. Bilateral trade exceeded $100 billion in the 2024-25 financial year, supported by the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Cepa) and the Local Currency Settlement System (LCSS). Electronics exports to the UAE alone reached $3.7 billion, making it India’s second-largest destination for such hardware.
