Dubai’s immigration authority and Global Village have partnered to mark the attraction’s 30th anniversary by featuring its logo on all visas issued from the emirate and on special entry stamps for arriving travellers.
The joint initiative between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) and Global Village was announced in the presence of Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, and Zeina Dagher, Senior Vice President of Operations at Dubai Holding Entertainment – Global Village.
The collaboration aims to introduce millions of international visitors to the popular cultural and entertainment destination from the moment they arrive.
Special Entry Offer
As part of the celebration, travellers with the new Global Village Season 30 stamp in their passport will receive complimentary entry to the park. The offer is valid for ten days, beginning from the park’s opening date on 15 October.
To claim the free access, the commemorative stamp must be placed next to the official entry stamp in the passport. This one-time privilege is designed to give visitors a unique welcome to the city.
A Symbol of Collaboration
Officials stated that the initiative highlights the institutional collaboration between government bodies and their private sector partners. It is intended to reflect Dubai’s commitment to cultural diversity and its role as a centre for international exchange.
The project also supports GDRFA Dubai’s wider efforts to promote national events that contribute to the emirate’s identity. It aligns with the objectives of the Dubai 2033 Vision, a strategy focused on solidifying the city’s status as a global destination for culture, innovation, and quality of life.
