Al Jazira Poultry Farm, a key player in the UAE’s egg market for over two decades, is building on its reputation for premium products with the introduction of locally produced smoked and pasteurised eggs. The company, part of the Al Ain Farms Group, was recently recognised for its quality, winning an international award for its signature products.
Known for its enriched “Golden Eggs,” which include DHA, Omega-3, and cage-free options, Al Jazira has a history of introducing new concepts to the regional market. Its latest offerings continue this trend, targeting both home cooks and the professional food service industry.
Focus on Safety and Convenience
The company has launched the first locally produced smoked eggs, which offer a distinct barbecue aroma and taste. It has also introduced on-demand pasteurised eggs, a significant step in food safety for consumers and commercial kitchens.
To serve hotels and restaurants, Al Jazira now provides pasteurised liquid eggs made from fresh local eggs. This product offers convenience by saving preparation time in busy kitchens and eliminates the risk of shell fragments contaminating food.
Tulsi Gangaramani, General Manager of Al Jazira Poultry Farm, noted the company’s role as an industry pioneer. “From revolutionising packaging with branded eggs in shrink-wrapped paper trays and egg packs made from recycled PET bottles to the introduction of nutrient-enriched eggs, Al Jazira remains at the forefront of innovation” he said.
International Recognition
The company’s commitment to quality was affirmed when its Golden Eggs and Smoked Eggs received the Superior Taste Award 2024 from the International Taste Institute in Brussels. The products were evaluated by a panel of judges that included Michelin-starred chefs.
Gangaramani emphasised the importance of local production. “Our premium eggs, born and raised locally, offer consumers the assurance of quality, freshness, and food safety, all at an affordable price,” he stated. “By supporting locally produced eggs, consumers not only enjoy superior value but also contribute to the sustainability of the UAE’s food ecosystem.”
