A specialist skin and hair clinic in Dubai has attracted clients from 64 countries within its first year, marking a significant development in the city’s health tourism sector. Este Medical Group, which opened on Jumeirah Beach Road in May 2024, reports that international visitors are increasingly travelling to the UAE for high-end treatments.

The company’s success reflects a wider trend of Dubai becoming a primary destination for medical travel, supported by government health initiatives and a growing demand for specialised procedures.

Global Reach and Investment

Sam Cinkir, CEO of Este Medical Group, said the company has been well received since its launch. “It has been an incredible first year for Este Medical Dubai and we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received so far,” he stated. “Dubai has been extremely welcoming to us.”

Cinkir, who opened his first clinic in Birmingham, England, in 2015, has a background in health tourism dating back to 2009 in his native Turkey. He noted that the company has invested more than Dh 40 million in its regional operations.

“Our ethos has always been to provide outstanding service using the latest technology and this has really resonated with customers in the UAE and beyond,” Cinkir explained. “I am excited to play an active role in helping Dubai become a world-renowned hub for clients who want the best treatments available.”

Este Medical Group now operates clinics in London, Manchester, Glasgow, New York, and Istanbul, offering services in skincare, cosmetic surgery, and hair restoration.

Advanced Hair Restoration

A key service driving international interest is the clinic’s Robotic DHI Hair Transplant, which was updated in early 2025. The procedure uses robotic technology to harvest and implant hair follicles with high precision, aiming for permanent results with minimal recovery time. This has proven popular with clients seeking effective, minimally invasive solutions for hair loss.

The clinic has seen an influx of patients from regions including South America, the USA, Europe, and Asia. Notably, clients have also travelled from Turkey, a country widely recognised for its hair transplant services, underscoring Dubai’s growing reputation in the field.

Cinkir attributed the city’s success to its leadership and commitment to high standards. “Dubai is full of visionary people,” he said. “It is a credit to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s visionary leadership that Dubai has become such a renowned setter of standards. Medical tourists and residents are clear in what they expect from us; outstanding, long-lasting results and first-class patient care.”
