The Qatar Boat Show 2025 has opened at Old Doha Port, cementing the nation’s position as a regional maritime leader with record-breaking participation from international and local brands. The four-day event showcases innovation, craftsmanship, and maritime heritage along the city’s iconic waterfront.

This year’s edition has seen a 25% increase in participation compared to its inaugural event, solidifying its status as the fastest-growing marine exhibition in the region. It features 505 regional and international brands, 85 exhibitors, and over 65 luxury yachts from 25 different countries.

Record Participation and Local Strength

The event underscores the country’s advanced standing in marine industries, with more than 50% of exhibitors representing Qatari companies. Engineer Mohammed Abdullah al-Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organising Committee, stated that the show is a testament to Qatar’s growing influence in the maritime world.

“By bringing together industry leaders under one roof, we continue to position Qatar as a hub of innovation, investment, and sustainable growth in the yachting sector,” al-Mulla said. He added that the event, which was preceded by a Qatar Boat Show 2025 hosts gala dinner, reflects the essence of the nation’s maritime heritage and modern ambition.

Showcasing Maritime Innovation

A key highlight of the show is its focus on new technology, with 55% of the yachts on display being 2025 models equipped with the latest global advancements. The marina is hosting several global unveilings, including the 74-metre Ultra Voltra yacht and the Ultima 55. Leading Qatari companies are also presenting standout launches.

The show’s success is bolstered by a distinguished group of local partners and maritime leaders, with the number of sponsors doubling from the previous edition. Key partners include the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Visit Qatar, Ooredoo, and Al Kass Sports Channels.

Visitor Experience and Entertainment

Beyond the vessels, the event offers a rich cultural and entertainment programme. The “Oshar” art gallery provides visitors with an opportunity to explore Qatar’s maritime heritage through works by renowned artists residing in the country. The festive atmosphere is complemented by live music, fireworks, and drone shows. Attendees can also enjoy premium hospitality, with over 30 local and international food and beverage outlets available.

The Qatar Boat Show 2025, which is ready to light up Old Doha Port, continues to welcome visitors through Saturday. The event is open from 4pm to 10pm on Friday and from 4pm to 9pm on its final day.
