HEC Paris has welcomed the 2025 cohort of its Emerging Leaders Track (ELT), a pioneering Executive MBA programme designed to shape the next generation of business leaders in Qatar and beyond. This new cohort, which reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to developing purposeful leaders, marks a significant milestone in the 15-year history of HEC Paris in Qatar.
The ELT programme continues to offer a flexible, part-time format, allowing participants to balance their professional roles with academic growth. With a focus on integrating practical learning alongside academic rigor, the programme equips participants to apply their newfound knowledge immediately in their respective organisations.
HEC Paris Strengthens its Commitment to Qatar’s Vision
In line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, the Emerging Leaders Track plays a crucial role in nurturing human capital and driving innovation within the region. Dr Pablo Martin de Holan, dean of HEC Paris in Doha, explained that the programme enables participants to grow both personally and professionally, fostering the technical, human, and ethical skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in their organisations and communities. This reflects HEC Paris’s dedication to supporting Qatar’s vision for a modern, sustainable economy.
The 2025 cohort consists of 47 participants from six countries, including professionals from Qatar and the wider region. Notably, 70% of the participants are women, highlighting the school’s strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and local talent development. With participants coming from a wide range of industries, the programme creates a dynamic and diverse learning environment, one that is enriched by global perspectives and regional relevance.
A Curriculum Tailored for Ambitious Professionals
The ELT curriculum is designed for professionals with high growth potential. It provides comprehensive education in key business areas such as strategy, finance, operations, and innovation. At the same time, participants develop leadership skills through case studies, field visits, and the hands-on Capstone Project. This project enables participants to generate tangible impact within their organisations or entrepreneurial ventures.
Prof Wolfgang Amann, academic experience manager of the Emerging Leaders Track Executive MBA at HEC Paris, Doha, shared that the programme is more than just a business education. It is a transformational experience that shapes both mindset and capabilities. Participants learn to turn strategic vision into action, leading with clarity, agility, and purpose. The programme encourages them to think creatively, act decisively, and create lasting impact across their organisations and the broader region.
