Natalie Joubran grew up as an Arab child in Haifa who rarely saw herself in the stories around her. Today her two companies put Arabic-speaking children inside those stories, and inside technology.
TaleToons.ai makes personalised Arabic children’s books. A child’s name, identity and imagination go into the story, and the book opens a conversation about feelings, confidence and boundaries. Natalie has produced more than 300 books and works with a child psychologist on how they are shaped. Kindergartens and summer programmes in her community use them.
Artech_edu teaches children AI, design and storytelling in Arabic. Natalie founded it so Arabic-speaking children take part in the technology revolution rather than watch it from the sidelines.
For her, the two ventures are the same hope: that Arab minority children feel more seen, more capable and more connected to their identity. She now wants to bring both to Arabic-speaking families across the Middle East, including the Gulf, where she plans partnerships with educators and institutions.
