Dubai is set to host DATE MENA, a major summit focused on technology and digital transformation, on November 26 and 27, 2025. The event, held at Madinat Jumeirah, will convene more than 1,000 pre-qualified business leaders, technology innovators, investors, and regulators to discuss the innovations shaping the future of the MENA region.

A Hub for Digital Transformation

Organised by Trescon, the Digitisation, AI & Emerging Technology Summit (DATE) serves as a high-impact platform for exploring industry-defining technologies. The two-day agenda covers a wide spectrum of topics, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital assets, cybersecurity, and immersive technologies. Further discussions will delve into financial innovation, quantum computing, and cloud solutions, providing a comprehensive overview of the sector.

Insights from Industry Leaders

The summit will feature more than 40 international and regional speakers offering practical insights and strategic perspectives. Key sessions include a talk by Dr Marwan AlZarouni on Dubai’s advancements in AI and blockchain, reflecting the city’s broader push to accelerate digital innovation.

An “AI in Action” panel will bring together leaders from EMSTEEL, ADNOC Distribution, The Kanoo Group, and Nas Neuron Health Services. Another discussion will explore the UAE’s virtual asset ecosystem with representatives from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), BitOasis, Maalexi, and D2A2. Additionally, a fireside chat on next-generation cybersecurity will feature perspectives from DP World and Atlantis Resorts.

Networking and Innovation Showcases

Beyond the main stage, DATE MENA offers several specialised programmes to foster collaboration. The FutureTech World Cup, a global start-up pitch competition, will highlight new and disruptive solutions from emerging companies.

The event also includes DATE Dialogues, a series of invite-only roundtables designed for senior stakeholders to engage in focused discussions and explore potential partnerships. To facilitate meaningful connections, the summit uses AI-powered networking tools to help attendees arrange curated meetings and generate tangible business outcomes.

Naveen Bharadwaj, CEO of Trescon, stated that the event aims to power the region’s digital future. “Leaders, innovators, and disruptors from across the region come together as breakthroughs are revealed, strategies are set, and MENA’s digital evolution accelerates,” he said. The summit provides a critical space where industry conversations and strategic planning converge to shape the next phase of technological growth in the Middle East and North Africa.
