Comment Moderation Policy

Community rules for respectful participation, what we allow, how moderation works, and how to report issues or appeal decisions.

We welcome thoughtful, constructive discussion. To maintain a respectful community, comments are moderated for quality, safety, and civility. Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules.

What We Encourage

  • Respectful debate and diverse viewpoints.
  • Fact-based contributions with sources for claims.
  • On-topic, concise, and courteous discussion.

What We Remove

  • Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks.
  • Spam, promotions, scams, malware, or malicious links.
  • Private or personal information without consent (doxxing).
  • Explicit, illegal, or threatening content; impersonation or misrepresentation.

Moderation & Enforcement

  • Comments may be held for review, edited for clarity, or removed at our discretion.
  • Repeat or severe violations may result in timeouts, comment restrictions, or bans.
  • Editorial moderation decisions aim to protect safety and quality and are generally final.

Licensing of Comments

By posting a comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your comment in connection with our services.

Appeals & Reporting

Disagree with a moderation action or see something that violates these guidelines? Please report it via Contact. We review good-faith reports promptly.
