The Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 opened in Riyadh today, bringing together more than 1,300 exhibitors and brands from 45 countries. Organised by the Saudi Falcons Club, the event runs until 11 October at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
Talal bin Abdulaziz AlShamaisi, CEO of the Saudi Falcons Club, stated that the exhibition has become a global destination for falconers and hunting enthusiasts. He said Saudi Arabia has established itself as the primary centre for falconry through what is now the world’s largest event of its kind, combining cultural heritage with opportunities for investment and tourism.
International Participation
A major feature of this year’s exhibition is the participation of more than 50 Chinese companies, which occupy 31 pavilions across 3,000 square metres. The Chinese section presents advanced desert farming solutions, modern hunting and camping equipment, drones, and smart technologies.
Alongside these products, the pavilion offers cultural attractions including handicrafts, pottery, calligraphy, and folklore performances. A dedicated business hub has also been set up to facilitate partnerships between Saudi and Chinese entrepreneurs, aiming to localise expertise in falconry and related industries.
Attractions and Events
The 2025 edition covers 28 specialised sectors and features over 23 family-friendly events. Key attractions include the Mongolian Falcons Zone, the Saluqi Museum, and a display on the UNESCO-listed Hima Najran heritage site. Visitors can also explore the Future Falconer Village, the Digital Shalail Museum, a falconry fashion zone, and a classic car showcase.
Interactive experiences are a significant part of the programme, with falcon-calling shows, equestrian performances, karting, and off-road driving available. Guests can also try camel rides, archery, and shooting ranges. The schedule includes workshops on desert farming and outdoor safety, as well as panel discussions on the role of falconry in literature and trade.
