Faraday Future’s latest release, the FX Super One, marks the next evolution in intelligent mobility. Unveiled in Dubai beneath the Burj Khalifa at the Armani Hotel, the vehicle is a symbol of the California-based electric mobility company’s ambition to blend artificial intelligence with high-end design. This debut not only introduces a new vehicle model but also signals Faraday Future’s official entry into the Middle East market.

The FX Super One: A Step Forward in Electric Mobility

The FX Super One is the natural progression from the brand’s flagship FF 91, which made waves globally upon its release two years ago. While the FF 91 catered to the ultra-luxury segment with celebrity endorsements and exclusive appeal, the FX Super One shifts focus towards a broader, more accessible market. Positioned as the world’s first EAI MPV (Embodied Artificial Intelligence Multi-Purpose Vehicle), the Super One offers an intelligent driving experience that balances sophistication with everyday usability.

The model is set to reach the UAE by November, with additional options and regional announcements expected in the coming year. The AIHEREV Max Edition will start at Dh309,000, making it a more attainable entry point into the future of luxury electric mobility.

A Regional Investment Strategy

Faraday Future has also announced significant plans to expand its operations in the region. In collaboration with RAK Motors and RAK Innovation City, the company will establish local manufacturing and research facilities. Tin Mok, Head of Faraday Future Middle East, shared that phase two of the project includes building a regional factory with an annual production target between 5,000 and 10,000 units. This will also involve the creation of an EAI Development Centre dedicated to advancing automotive AI in the UAE.

“The Middle East is not just a market for us,” Mok explained. “It’s a launch pad for innovation. By investing in local R&D and production, we’re helping shape the region’s future of intelligent mobility.”

A Vehicle Designed for the Future

The FX Super One is designed to stand out visually and functionally. Its illuminated front-grille screen can display custom animations, offering a digital personality that interacts with its driver. Inside, the cabin offers human-centred luxury, with zero-gravity seats, privacy curtains, and a 23-speaker surround-sound system. The vehicle’s modular design allows for various seating configurations, ensuring it can adapt to both business and family needs.

The MPV will be available in four, six, and seven-seat versions, with a flexible 2+2+2 seating arrangement in the six-passenger model. This versatility aligns with Faraday Future’s belief in adaptive design, making the vehicle suitable for both personal and professional use.

Performance and Safety Features

The FX Super One is powered by the AI Hybrid Extended Range (AIHER) 1.0 powertrain. This dual-motor system delivers 337 kW of power, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. It also offers a range of nearly 1,000 kilometres, addressing the range anxiety often associated with electric vehicles.

The vehicle prioritises safety with an 80% high-strength steel body structure, providing rigidity while maintaining a smooth ride. It is the first MPV to feature full-cabin airbag coverage, enhancing family safety. With luggage capacity ranging from 315 to 1,975 litres, the FX Super One offers both practicality and intelligence.

The Middle East Launch and Global Appeal

Faraday Future’s launch in Dubai is part of a broader expansion strategy, connecting its operations in the US and China with a new Middle Eastern base. Xiao Ma, Global CEO of Faraday X, described the FX Super One as a vehicle with universal appeal, catering to entrepreneurs, families, celebrities, and creators alike.

Matthias Aydt, Faraday Future’s Global Co-Chief Executive Officer, emphasised the seamless integration of the brand’s AI ecosystem. “Imagine stepping into any FX vehicle anywhere in the world, and it instantly recognises you,” he said. This personalised experience is central to the brand’s philosophy of blending technology with human emotion, making each journey unique to the driver.

As Faraday Future continues to innovate, the FX Super One captures the essence of Dubai a city where engineering and design meet to create a forward-thinking future of mobility.
